1 1/2 lbs ground beef
4 large corn tortillas
1 can tomato puree
1 jar taco sauce
1 can green chilies
1 medium onion, chopped
1/4 tsp red pepper
1/4 tsp cumin
8oz shredded Monterey jack cheese
Brown ground beef with onions and drain. Combine taco sauce, tomato puree, red pepper, cumin, and green chilies.
Line Dutch oven with aluminum foil. Place 2 tortillas in oven. Pour 1/2 of ground beef, then 1/2 sauce mixture on top of tortillas.
Place 2 more tortillas on Atop and pour in rest of beef and sauce mixture. Top
with cheese. Cover and bake until cheese is melted.
